The project

Distribution Center Daily Operations Dashboard (Excel/Sheets)

A structured spreadsheet dashboard that simulates a Site Logistics Planner's daily view: tracking inbound shipments, on-hand inventory by product category, open customer orders, and a simple fill-rate KPI summary. This directly mirrors the Product Supply and Order Management intern responsibilities described in the posting, showing a recruiter the candidate already thinks in the operational language of the role.

  1. Build three linked tabs in Google Sheets or Excel: 'Inventory' (columns: SKU, Product Category, Units On Hand, Reorder Threshold, Status flag that auto-highlights rows below threshold in red), 'Open Orders' (columns: Order ID, Customer Account, SKU, Units Ordered, Units Available, Shortfall, Order Status), and 'Daily KPI Summary' (pull-forward formulas that calculate Fill Rate %, Total Units at Risk, and Count of Orders with Shortfalls from the other two tabs). Populate each tab with at least 15 realistic rows of invented snack-product data so the dashboard feels live.
  2. Add a 'Deduction Log' tab that a Customer Service Coordinator would use: columns for Customer Name, Invoice Number, Deduction Reason (dropdown list: Shortage, Pricing Dispute, Damage, Late Delivery), Amount ($), Date Opened, and Resolution Status. Use conditional formatting to color-code Open vs. Resolved rows, and add a summary cell at the top that totals outstanding deduction dollars, exactly the day-to-day tracking an Order Management or Deduction intern would own.
  3. Create a one-page 'Ops Brief' tab styled as a clean daily report: use cell references (no manual typing) to surface today's fill rate, top 3 SKUs at risk of stockout, total open deduction dollars, and a plain-English recommendation sentence you write (e.g., 'Expedite replenishment of Oreo Double Stuf, 48 hrs to stockout at current velocity'). This tab is what you screenshot or share as the recruiter-facing artifact, showing you can translate raw logistics data into an actionable operations summary.

Questions

Do I need to know how to code?

No. For roles like this one, Provieo builds the project as a live case-study page: slides, tables and findings you fill in. You bring the thinking.

Where did this project come from?

Provieo read the Mondelez International posting and generated it on 2026-10-28. If you paste the same posting yourself you may get a different project, so two applicants don't show up with the same one.

Is Provieo connected to Mondelez International?

No. This is an independent project idea based on a public posting. It does not guarantee an interview.
