The project

Retail Brand Audit & Campaign Pitch Deck

A polished 8-10 slide PowerPoint deck that audits a real retail brand's current marketing across social, email, and in-store, then pitches one concrete seasonal campaign idea backed by consumer data. This maps directly to the role because it demonstrates brand strategy thinking, the ability to translate consumer insights into actionable recommendations, and strong presentation skills, exactly what Brand and Digital Marketing interns are asked to do.

  1. Pick a mid-size retail brand you genuinely use (e.g. Aritzia, Ulta, REI). Spend 20 minutes auditing their Instagram, website homepage, and one promotional email, screenshot 4-6 examples. Then pull one or two free consumer stats (Google Trends, Statista free tier, or a brand's public press release) that reveal something interesting about their target shopper or a gap in the market. Organize your notes into three buckets: what the brand does well, where it falls short, and one underserved consumer need.
  2. Build an 8-10 slide deck in PowerPoint using a clean, on-brand color palette you pull from the brand itself. Structure it as: (1) Brand Snapshot, (2) Current Marketing Audit with your screenshots, (3) Consumer Insight, the stat or trend that reveals the gap, (4) Campaign Concept with a clear name and tagline, (5) Channel Plan showing where the campaign would live and why, (6) Success Metrics listing two or three KPIs a marketing team would actually track, (7) Why Now, a one-slide urgency argument tied to a season or cultural moment.
  3. Write a one-paragraph executive summary at the top of slide 1 that distills the entire recommendation in five sentences or fewer, as if presenting to a VP who has 60 seconds. Review every slide and cut any bullet that does not directly support a decision, aim for no slide to exceed 30 words of body text. Export the final deck as a PDF so it opens instantly without font or formatting issues, and rename the file firstname_lastname_brandaudit.pdf so a recruiter can find it in a crowded downloads folder.

Questions

Do I need to know how to code?

No. For roles like this one, Provieo builds the project as a live case-study page: slides, tables and findings you fill in. You bring the thinking.

Where did this project come from?

Provieo read the Bath & Body Works posting and generated it on 2026-10-16. If you paste the same posting yourself you may get a different project, so two applicants don't show up with the same one.

Is Provieo connected to Bath & Body Works?

No. This is an independent project idea based on a public posting. It does not guarantee an interview.
