The project

Group Benefits Broker Pipeline Tracker & Retention Dashboard

A structured Excel or Google Sheets workbook that simulates a small broker prospect pipeline alongside a client retention risk scorecard, complete with a one-page executive summary slide interpreting the data. This maps directly to the role's core asks: pipeline management, customer analysis, account planning, and preparing business insights that support sales and retention decision-making.

  1. Build a two-tab workbook: Tab 1 is a prospect pipeline tracker with columns for Broker Name, Employer Group, Group Size, Product Interest (Medical/Dental/Vision/Life), Stage (Lead/Qualified/Proposal/Closed), Estimated Annual Premium, and Next Action with a due date. Populate 10-12 fictional but realistic rows representing a mix of stages and group sizes, and add a summary row at the top using formulas to calculate total pipeline value, number of accounts per stage, and win rate. Tab 2 is a client retention risk scorecard for 8 existing accounts, scoring each on Renewal Date (months away), Last Engagement Date, Claims Trend (Low/Medium/High), and Satisfaction (1-5), then using a weighted formula to produce a Risk Score and auto-flagged Priority (Green/Yellow/Red) using conditional formatting.
  2. Add a simple chart to each tab: a funnel or stacked bar chart on Tab 1 showing deal count and value by pipeline stage, and a color-coded bar chart on Tab 2 ranking accounts from highest to lowest retention risk so a sales leader can instantly see who needs attention first.
  3. Create a single PowerPoint or Google Slides executive summary (3-4 slides) that presents the pipeline snapshot, the top three at-risk accounts with a recommended action for each, and one strategic recommendation (e.g., prioritize mid-size employer groups in the proposal stage before Q3 renewal season). Write each slide as if you are presenting to a regional sales director, using bullet points, your charts pasted in, and a clear 'So What' takeaway on every slide.

Questions

Do I need to know how to code?

No. For roles like this one, Provieo builds the project as a live case-study page: slides, tables and findings you fill in. You bring the thinking.

Where did this project come from?

Provieo read the Humana posting and generated it on 2026-10-21. If you paste the same posting yourself you may get a different project, so two applicants don't show up with the same one.

Is Provieo connected to Humana?

No. This is an independent project idea based on a public posting. It does not guarantee an interview.
